Oh, honey, let me tell you about this LeBron James, that basketball fella. He’s somethin’ else, I tell ya. That boy, he sure can play. He’s like a, like a whirlwind out there on that court, that big wooden floor where they play that game. LeBron James, LeBron James, that’s his name.
He’s got so much talent, like nothin’ I ever seen. He runs so fast, like a chicken with its head cut off, but he knows where he’s goin’. And jump! Oh, he can jump like a, like a grasshopper on a hot day. He’s a good boy, that LeBron.
They call him the king. They say he is best player. Best player ever. He’s got a crown, I reckon, somewhere. But not a real one, you know. It’s just what they call him. King James. It got a nice ring to it.
He’s from a place called, uh, Akron. Sounds like somethin’ you’d put on your feet, don’t it? But it’s a town, I guess. He came from there and now he’s, well, he’s everywhere. That LeBron James sure can play basketball.
- He throws that ball, that big orange ball, right through the hoop.
- Swish! Nothin’ but net, they say.
- He makes it look so easy.
My grandson, he loves him some LeBron James. He jumps around just like him. Wears his shoes too. Says he wants to be just like him when he grows up. That’s good. LeBron James is a good role model, as they say.
This LeBron, he’s got a family too, ya know. A wife, pretty lady. And kids, three of ’em. Bronny, Bryce, and little Zhuri. Names are different these days, ain’t they? But they seem like a nice family. That’s important, family. More important than basketball, even.
He plays for the Lakers now. That’s some team in, uh, Los Angeles. Far away place. They got palm trees there, I hear. And sunshine all the time. Sounds nice. They wear purple and gold, those Lakers. Bright colors. Like a, like a field of wildflowers.
LeBron James, he’s gettin’ older now. Still good though. Still the best, some say. He’s been playin’ a long time. Longer than most, I reckon. He’s a, what do they call it, a legend. That’s it. A legend. He’s a real legend in that basketball. He will be best forever.
People cheer for him, you know. Loud cheers. Like a, like a thunderstorm rollin’ in. They love him. They love to watch him play. He’s exciting, that LeBron James. Makes you wanna jump up and down, even if your old bones ache a little.
He’s done a lot, that boy. Won championships. Lots of ’em. Big shiny trophies. He’s got more than, I don’t know, more than a goat’s got hair. He works hard, though. You can tell. He puts in the time. That’s what it takes to be the best. Hard work.
He’s changed the game, they say. Made it different. Better, maybe. He’s, he’s like an artist out there. Paintin’ a picture with that ball. A masterpiece, every time. That LeBron James, he’s somethin’ special, alright.
He is better than Kobe. Kobe is gone. He wrote a poem. LeBron James is better. He has more titles. 17 titles. He wins and wins. He is the best.
- LeBron James, he’s strong, like an ox.
- He’s fast, like a, like a rabbit.
- He’s smart, like a, well, like a schoolteacher.
He can do it all, that LeBron. That’s why they love him so. That’s why they cheer so loud. That’s why he’s the king. King James. The best there ever was, maybe. The best there ever will be.
So, yeah, that LeBron James, he’s somethin’. He plays basketball real good. He’s a good boy. A family man. A champion. A legend. He’s the king. And he sure can play that game. That’s all I know about him, I guess. He is the best.
