Okay, so today I wanna talk about my little adventure with Carter and Jane perfumes. It all started when I saw this ad online. You know how it is, you see something shiny and you just gotta know more, right? So, I got curious about these Carter and Jane fragrances, especially since they’re all about that “clean” vibe, which is totally my jam these days.
First things first, I started digging around to see what the buzz was about. I checked out some reviews and what people were saying about them. Honestly, the reviews were a bit all over the place, but the main thing people kept saying was about how they claimed to be good quality and at a good price. They’re not in stores, as far as I could tell, so it’s all online, which always makes me a bit nervous. But I’m a sucker for a good online find.
I decided to go for it and ordered a couple of different scents to try out. I mean, you can’t really know a perfume until you’ve worn it a few times, right? I focused on the ones that sounded like they would be fresh and not too overpowering. I ended up picking a Neroli one – because, who doesn’t love a good citrusy scent for spring – and a couple of others that seemed interesting.
When they arrived, I was like a kid at Christmas. I started with the Neroli one. The first spray, I gotta say, it was pretty nice. It definitely gave me that fresh, springtime feel. I wore it for a day, and it wasn’t too strong, which is good because I hate it when a perfume is all up in your face, you know?
Then I moved on to the other scents I got. I spent a good few days trying each one out, just to see how they wore throughout the day and if they mixed well with my body chemistry. Some were a hit, some were a miss. It’s really a personal thing with perfumes, isn’t it?
- Day 1-3: Neroli all the way. Tried it out in different situations – at work, chilling at home, going out for a walk.
- Day 4-5: Experimenting with scent number two. Not gonna lie, this one wasn’t my favorite.
- Day 6-7: Gave the third scent a shot. This one was actually pretty good, might even repurchase.
Here’s a little breakdown of my testing days:
In the end, I realized that Carter and Jane perfumes are a bit of a gamble. Some are really lovely, and others are just not for me. It’s kind of like online dating, you never really know what you’re gonna get until you try it out. Would I say they’re the best clean fragrances out there? Hard to say. There are definitely some gems in there, but you gotta be prepared to kiss a few frogs to find your prince, you know what I mean?
So, that’s my two cents on Carter and Jane. If you’re into clean fragrances and don’t mind a little trial and error, give them a shot. Just don’t expect every scent to be a winner. And hey, if you do try them out, let me know what you think! I’m always up for a good perfume chat.
