Alright, let’s talk about somethin’ kinda hush-hush, somethin’ folks don’t usually gab about in the open. We gonna talk about whether a fella who likes gals can, you know, watch them… movies with fellas doin’ stuff. It’s a bit of a head-scratcher, ain’t it?

- Others say it’s ’cause those movies, they show things different, maybe more… real, than the regular ones with men and women. I don’t know about that, I ain’t watchin’ none of that stuff, but that’s what some folks say.
- And then there’s them fellas who say it helps them figure out what they like in bed, even with their wives or girlfriends. Go figure, right?
I read somewhere, or maybe heard it on the TV, that some brainy fellas did a study, askin’ a whole bunch of men about what kinda movies they watch. And guess what? A whole bunch of men who say they like gals, they watch them gay movies too. It ain’t just a few, it’s a lot! So, it makes you wonder, don’t it? Are these fellas really straight, or is there somethin’ more to it?
Now, I ain’t sayin’ watchin’ them movies makes a fella gay. And I ain’t sayin’ it don’t. Like I said, I ain’t no expert. But it seems to me, if a fella says he likes ladies, and he’s happy with a lady, then who cares what kinda movies he watches? It’s his business, not mine, not yours, nobody’s.
I reckon some folks get all worked up about this stuff ’cause they think there’s only two kinds of people: men who like women, and men who like men. But life ain’t always so black and white, is it? Maybe there’s more to it than that. Maybe a fella can like ladies and still be… curious, about other things. Or maybe he just likes what he sees, and it don’t mean nothin’ more. It’s complicated, you know? Like tryin’ to figure out why the rooster crows at dawn – sometimes there ain’t no easy answer.
And let’s be honest, sometimes them regular movies with men and women, they can be kinda… fake, you know? Like they’re puttin’ on a show. Maybe some fellas just want somethin’ that feels a bit more… real, even if it ain’t what they’re used to. I mean, I’ve seen enough fake smiles and forced laughter in my life to know when somethin’ ain’t genuine. Maybe them movies are the same way.

And if it makes him happy, or helps him figure things out, or just gives him somethin’ to look at, then who am I to say it’s wrong? It ain’t my place to judge. Life’s too short to be worryin’ about what other folks are doin’ in their bedrooms, or what they’re watchin’ on their screens. We got enough problems in this world without makin’ up new ones.
We should all just mind our own business and let folks be folks. That’s what I always say. And if a fella wants to watch them gay movies, well, that’s his prerogative. It don’t make him a bad person, and it don’t mean he’s not who he says he is. People are complicated, that’s all there is to it. And tryin’ to put them in little boxes just ain’t gonna work. So, let ’em watch what they wanna watch, and let’s all just try to get along. That’s the way I see it, anyway.
And frankly, with all the troubles in the world, worryin’ about what kind of movies someone watches is like worryin’ about a fly landin’ on a cow’s behind. There’s bigger fish to fry, as they say. We got crops to tend to, families to feed, and bills to pay. So, let folks watch what they want, and let’s get back to what really matters. Life’s too short for such foolishness.
