Man, the weather’s been crazy hot lately, and I’ve been sweating like crazy. My usual deodorant just wasn’t cutting it, so I figured it was time to step up my game. I decided to go on a quest to find a really good, maybe even expensive, deodorant for men. You know, something that actually works and maybe even smells fancy.
Started My Research
First, I hit up the internet, reading a ton of articles and reviews. I learned that some of these fancy deodorants can cost anywhere from $6 to over $20! That’s a lot for a deodorant, but hey, if it keeps me smelling fresh, it might be worth it. A few names kept popping up: Mitchum, Le Labo, Old Spice, Schmidt’s, Every Man Jack, and Patricks. Dove was mentioned too, which is a brand I already know.
Time to Test Them Out
I decided to try a few of these out. I started with Mitchum because it claimed to last for 48 hours. I put it on, and it had this cool, minty smell. It worked pretty well, I have to say. I didn’t smell bad at all, even after a long day. Plus, it didn’t have any of that baking soda or aluminum stuff that some people say is bad for you.
Next, I tried Schmidt’s Charcoal + Magnesium. This one was interesting because it had charcoal in it. It felt a bit different going on, but it worked like a charm. I didn’t stink, and it had a nice, subtle scent. I also picked up an Every Man Jack deodorant, which was cheaper than the others. It was okay, but it didn’t wow me like Mitchum or Schmidt’s did.
Then I went for the big guns – Patricks ND1. This thing was expensive, no joke. But man, did it smell good! It felt really luxurious, like I was putting on some high-end cologne. And it kept me smelling fresh all day long. I felt like a million bucks, even if my wallet felt a bit lighter.
My Thoughts
- Mitchum is a solid choice. It’s effective, smells good, and it’s not crazy expensive.
- Schmidt’s is great if you’re into natural ingredients. It works well and has a unique feel.
- Every Man Jack is decent for the price, but there are better options out there.
- Patricks ND1 is the real deal if you want to splurge. It smells amazing and it works like a dream.
So, after trying out all these expensive deodorants, I realized a few things. First, you don’t always have to spend a fortune to smell good. Mitchum, for example, is a great value. But if you want to treat yourself and smell extra fancy, Patricks ND1 is the way to go. It really depends on what you’re looking for and how much you’re willing to spend. At the end of the day, the most important thing is finding a deodorant that works for you and makes you feel confident.
For now I choose Patricks ND1. I’ll keep using it and see how it goes. Maybe I’ll try out some other fancy deodorants in the future, but for now, I’m pretty happy with my choice.
