Okay, so I’ve been trying out this soap brand called Duke Cannon – you know, the one that keeps popping up all over the place? They market it as this super manly, “rooted in military history” kind of thing. I figured, why not give it a shot? I’m always up for trying new stuff, especially when it comes to my skin.
I grabbed a few different bars – they call them “Big Ass Brick of Soap,” which is kind of funny. I used different scents and types because, well, variety is the spice of life, right? I mean it is a rugged, no-nonsense bar of soap, but will it really clean me? I wanted to really put this soap through its paces.
First off, these bars are HUGE. Like, seriously, they’re way bigger than your average soap. I started showering with one and washing my hands with another. I used it every day, just like I would with any other soap, to see how it held up.
The first thing I checked out was the ingredients. It’s kinda important to know what you’re putting on your skin, right? I saw on their package that it’s allergen-free, which is great.
I kept using the soap for a couple of weeks. I wanted to see if it would dry out my skin or make me break out or anything like that. Honestly, after using it consistently, my skin felt pretty good. It didn’t feel dry or tight, and I didn’t have any weird reactions.
My Personal Take
- The lather: This soap lathers up really nicely. You don’t need to use a ton of it to get a good, rich lather going. It felt great on my skin.
- The scent: I tried a few different scents, and they were all pretty strong. If you’re not into strong smells, this might not be the soap for you. But I found the scents to be pretty pleasant and they definitely lasted a while. I used different types because I wanted to be able to recommend which one was the best.
- The clean: After using the soap, my skin felt really clean. Like, squeaky clean, but not in a bad way. It definitely got rid of all the dirt and grime.
So, is Duke Cannon soap good for your skin? Based on my experience, yeah, I’d say it is. It cleans well, doesn’t dry out your skin, and the scents are pretty good. I’m pretty stoked about it and want to share my experiences with you guys. It’s definitely worth trying out, especially if you’re looking for a no-nonsense soap that gets the job done.
