Alright, let’s talk about TacPack. I’ve been seeing ads for this thing all over the place, and my curiosity finally got the better of me. So, I decided to bite the bullet and see what all the fuss is about.
First off, what is TacPack? Basically, it’s a subscription box that shows up at your door every month, filled with a bunch of tactical gear. Think of it like a surprise gift to yourself, but instead of socks or a weird candle, you get stuff you might actually use if you’re into that whole tactical world.
Signing up was pretty straightforward. I just went to their website, picked the TacPack Plus option (because why not go big?), and entered my info. They charged my card right away, and then the waiting game began.
It took a little while for the first box to arrive, I bought this month’s box on the first of the month, maybe a couple of weeks. But when it finally showed up, I have to admit, it was kind of exciting. Tearing open that box was like being a kid on Christmas morning, except instead of toys, I got…

So, was it worth the money? Honestly, it’s hard to say. Some of the stuff is definitely useful, and it’s all pretty good quality. But some of it feels a little gimmicky, like I’m not sure when I’d ever actually use it. I guess it depends on what you’re into. I have used some of it already and not been disappointed for what I paid.
They also opened up orders for something new, so I might check that out, but I haven’t decided yet.
I’ve only gotten one box so far, so I can’t say for sure if I’ll keep the subscription going. I’ll probably give it a few more months and see how it goes.
