Okay, so I’ve been wanting to get back into a fitness routine, and I remembered how much I used to enjoy Jazzercise back in the day. I decided to give it a try again, focusing on their studio classes. Here’s how it went.
Finding a Studio and Logging In
First things first, I needed to find a Jazzercise studio near me. I just went to their website and there was this section to search by location. Pretty straightforward, I typed in my zip code and boom, a list of studios popped up. I picked the one closest to me, which was super convenient.
Next, I needed to figure out the login situation. The website talked about a member portal, so I clicked around until I found the login page. It asked for an email and password. I didn’t have an account, then I clicked the button to create a new one. It is easy to create. I just type my email and password. Then I got an email from Jazzercise, I opened the email and clicked the link to confirm. Done!
Choosing a Class
Now, onto the classes. The studio I chose had a whole schedule online, which was awesome. They offer different types like Cardio Sculpt, Power Sculpt, and just Sculpt. I used to do the dance-heavy classes, so I was leaning towards Cardio Sculpt. But they also mentioned that their instructors are trained to show modifications, which is great for easing back into things.
I decided to go for a Cardio Sculpt class to start. I saw on the schedule that they had one on Saturday morning, which was perfect. I signed in, picked it on the schedule, and it asked me to confirm. It is so easy!
Membership and Pricing
Of course, I had to think about the membership stuff. They had different options, like individual classes or monthly memberships. They even had a special rate for in-studio members to access their on-demand workouts.
- I saw they have a “pay as you go” option, which is good for now.
- But that monthly membership with unlimited classes sounded tempting.
I decided to buy a single class for now, just to see how it goes. If I like it as much as I remember, I’ll definitely consider the membership.
Tracking and Other Features
One cool thing I noticed is that you can connect your fitness tracker, like a Fitbit or Apple Watch, to your Jazzercise account. It will track your workouts and progress. I think that’s a neat way to stay motivated and see how you’re doing. It is a good feature that the Jazzercise has.
Overall, the whole process was pretty smooth. I’m excited to try out that Cardio Sculpt class this weekend. If it’s anything like the old days, it’ll be a fun and effective workout. I’ll keep you guys posted on how it goes!
If you’re thinking about trying Jazzercise, it seems like they’ve made it easy to find a studio, sign up, and get started. And with the different class types and modifications, there’s probably something for everyone, no matter your fitness level.
Wish me luck with my first class back!
